How personal printers usually work

Please note that a personal printer cannot connect to the Workways network – neither via Ethernet nor Wi-Fi.

Most modern printers create their own Wi-Fi hotspot and provide:

• Mobile apps for printing from phones or tablets
• Drivers for computers that connect directly to the printer’s hotspot

This allows you to print without needing access to the Workways network.

Wired printers

If your printer only supports a cable connection, you must use the Private local network option. For more information, please refer to the following guide.
